Chose from BE PRESENT , SMILE MORE or THINK LESS…all pretty good rules to live by! I knew immed. When buying jewelry and accessories, it’s no longer about purchasing a single item to add interest to an outfit. It’s about finding multiple pieces that fit together while complementing your outfit, hair and beauty look. It can be tricky business… Those Pinterest images showing fashion bloggers with what seem like merely stacks of random rings piled together are actually carefully considered and hand selected. That’s why they look so good! But, while it takes a little work, correctly pairing jewelry can take your fashion to a whole new level.
Chances are you know what to wear before you have the jewelry picked out, so use this as a basis for your accessory choices. In general, contrast is key. Planning to wear a simple t-shirt and jeans? Try a statement necklace and bangles to amp up your look. Going for a bold ensemble like I did in the photo above? Then light, minimal pieces will be your go-to.
Yes, you can pair totally different elements – such as dainty rings with statement pieces, or different prints and patterns – but stay along a similar aesthetic (think boho, preppy, feminine, etc.). In fact, you wouldn’t want to simply stack identical rings together. But there are limitations. For example, pairing fine jewelry with costume or super casual pieces can end up looking more cluttered than polished, so don’t stray TOO far from one theme.
As for necklaces, the best looks pair delicate, minimal pieces of different lengths and varying pendants. Here, it’s all about balance. If you’re pairing 3 or 4 necklaces, you don’t want one to steal the show; the goal is to create a uniform look. Do this by mixing pendants of different colors, shapes, and textures, while sticking to a similar aesthetic.
This detail is often overlooked when it comes to picking out the perfect jewelry pieces for an occasion. Create a cohesive overall look by choosing pieces that don’t clash, but enhance. Since I knew I’d be wearing a feminine pink lip, I chose light colored, dainty jewelry. With hand jewelry, it’s important to think about nails: certain nail art may distract from your accessories, while others make it look more polished (no pun intended). White and gold is always a good combo in my book, so I chose to create it with my rings and polish. If you plan on getting a mani with an intricate nail design, you may want to stick to just a bracelet as opposed to several rings.

The perfumery author never stops, much less the characters and the brand that animate it. It seems like yesterday the end of the week perfume Milan 2014 and many serial sniffers have not finished yet to try the new products introduced in March, which arrive the first highlights of Pitti 12 fragrances that will take place as usual at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence, from Friday 12 on Sunday, September 14.
The word to perfume. This edition will feature a fascinating subject, Perfumes & Parole, which will become the main theme of the festival fiorentina with meetings, appointments of olfactory culture, installations and panel discussions devoted to dialogue between words and fragrances, with particular attention to those poets and writers which over the centuries have loved to write and describe the world of odors through their art.
Among the special projects Fragrances 2014 mention Verba Olent – Journey in the literature of perfume, a journey exciting by Giovanna Zucconi, journalist and presenter of radio and television and soul of Serra & Fonseca, a brand that explores the connections between perfume and literature, art and design. The project-installation Verba Olent is a journey through the many shades of the perfume literature, or literature scented. It is no secret that fragrances and odors through the centuries in Western literature: a secret track high emotional intensity, a fil rouge bouquet to express eros, nostalgia, social judgment, mysticism. From the Bible to Baudelaire, from Shakespeare to Pascoli, the most neglected and mysterious character sketches of the senses, conveys emotions, evoking memories, says the past is used to tell the impalpable, invisible, indescribable and often even unfathomably .
Beyond words, at Pitti Fragrances 12 there will be the most loved brand of perfume copyright with their classics and novelties that we anticipate will be many.
The best of the first day at Pitti:
The Pitti Fragrances is always a mix of emotions and events, meetings with international noses and homegrown discoveries. Here’s the best of the first day, according to the editors of Icon.
1 Shades of Indigo Olfactive Studio. It is inspired by a photograph, like all of the line – in this case an image of Gustavo Pellizzon in which a young woman (or man?) Emerges from the water. The jus is a blue sea, and contains woods, resins, tuberose and petit grain. Distributed in Italy by essenses.
2 Patchouliful Laboratory Olfactory. This is a real patchouli, inspired by a traditional king but who has lived in the seventies, then brings Hawaiian shirts and marched through the streets. The earthy patchouli is less than usual, which appears and disappears in surprise. Distributed in Italy by Kaon.
3 The Modern Figaro Chez Dedi and Men’s Heritage. The portable kit for the perfect hipster: a toothbrush and a comb mustache, a mustache wax always to Capt Fawcett’s encased in an elegant clutch bag in soft leather.

When I did a sneak peek of my crochet jewelry not too long ago I never knew it would get so much interest! I have gotten a lot of questions about it in the past little bit so here is is finally in a bit more detail! Enjoy!!
I have been drawn to crochet jewelry for the past few years. It never started out with me trying to build a “collection” but I really love the style and look of woven metal and ended up with a nice range of colors and pieces. I especially wanted a thicker bracelet style, unfortunately every time I tried on similar styles in shops, they slipped off my tiny wrists.
Sooooo what is a girl to do ?? I decided to try and get a few bracelets made with the help of a local jewelry maker. The results were amazing and I was so happy that they were custom and one-of-a-kind pieces but most importantly measured to fit!!! I love layering the different colors of bracelets and necklaces – I am def a fan of silver and gold together!
He concluded the holidays back in the city, began a period of transition.
I love to dress completely with black, elegant, practical, perfect in every moment of the day and occasion.

LOVE. Love this modern take on the statement earring as seen in CR Fashion Book, such a great way of wearing statement pieces in a casual, less overpowering way! The trend of the solo earring first caught my eye at the Céline fall 14 show where Phoebe Philo had the models walk down the runway wearing a single bold earring each and it’s been on my mind ever since. Will definitely give this look a go for fall (probably paired with a tiny stud in the other ear though, to avoid the inevitable “I think you lost an earring!” comments).
All we’ll have to have a leather jacket motorcycle model.
I tovo handy, fast and can be combined in many combinations.
It ‘a suitable head in those days indecisive, hot-cold, in the morning in the afternoon in the evening, almost always … like a second skin!

If you’re anything like us, then you’re a firm believer in the idea that chain-ge is good. And with the end of summer rapidly approaching (say it ain’t so!), now’s as good a time as any to start implementing a bit (or a bunch) of it into your wardrobe. Enter the bodacious body chain, a summer staple seen on the likes of Beyonce, Vanessa Hudgens, Kendall Jenner, and Bad Girl RiRi herself.
So what is it about these layered, shimmery goods that everyone loves so much? Well, first off, it’s the perfect way to subtly add a bit of chic-shine to your outfit. Second, it’ll totally accentuate your hot bod by bringing attention to those abs you’ve been working on. And third, well, we’re into anything Queen Bey is into, #justsayin.
1. Over a swimsuit. Whether you’re a bikini babe or a one-piece kind of gal, a body chain will easily complement your beachside or poolside look without looking like you’re trying too hard. Our advice: Go for a chain that’s on the simpler side (like the Circular Faux Jewels Body Chain), especially if you plan on actually getting into the water.
2. Over (or underneath) a cropped top. When it comes to fashion, think of your body as a canvas. And since a cropped top is only covering your top half, why not add a little something-something to drape down the bottom half? You really can’t go wrong with this next-level look. Our advice: Keep the layering around your neck at a minimum. Instead of throwing on an extra necklace, try a couple of rings and bracelets instead.
3. Over a dress. Nothing gets a conversation going (mostly compliments, obvi) more than a body chain over a dress. It’s not only beyond chic but also very unpredictable, so take pride in the fact that you decided to step it up a notch that day. Our advice: Go with a basic colored dress to really make your chain pop, like a sleek #LBD.

Camo has come a long way, from actual army attire to popular perennial print. Nowadays it’s no longer under the radar, popping up everywhere and on everything from shirt pockets to full-body jumpsuits. But what’s one difference between the camo you would wear at boot camp and the camo you would wear, say, boot shopping? Well, the former has you blending in, while the latter will keep you standing out. So whether you’re a real army brat or a pretend platoon princess, here are camo pieces that’ll have you rising in the fashion ranks. We wouldn’t be surprised if soon you were first in command…

Pom-pom shorts: Floral prints bordered by cute pom-poms or tassels make for a springy look when it’s far past spring.
Pair them with a light, semi-sheer tank like Southern Curls & Pearls and you are sure to beat the heat. Love the heart sunnies, too!
Embroidered shorts: A pair of gauze shorts in a cotton fabric keeps you cool on the go but also serves as a great beach cover-up.
The embroidery is beautiful and looks great with gold accessories for a glowing summer look.
Lace shorts: Breezy satin shorts are perfect for cooling off, but they’re also a great layering piece.
The lace hemline gives them a feminine feel, and I love them with the contrast of basic sneakers and a pullover.
Scalloped shorts: Basic printed shorts are instantly dressed up with a scalloped edge. Throw a blouse on top and complete the look with chic wedges. The image above shows just how classy a pair of easy-going shorts can be if you combine them with the right accessories and hairstyle.
The short: Asymmetrical shorts were huge last summer and it seems all the biggest fashion bloggers are breaking them out again this year. This is one old trend that has been glammed up and totally transformed. The silhouette elongates your legs like a micro-mini would. And the possibilities for shoe pairings? Endless!

We can all agree that one of, if not your most important accessory come summer time is what sunglasses you’re wearing.
There are two trends we see that are going to make summer 2014.
1. ALL ABOUT MIRROR: Mirror has been the trend for a bit now, NOT A FAD, A TREND. We see this will go strong through summer 2014 and manufacturers are only making the trend stronger by coming out with some awesome design that have mirror lenses. If you don’t have a pair of mirror lens sunglasses it’s time to consider buying a pair right now.The brand doing mirror the best right now is Ray-Ban.
2. ROUND SUNGLASSES MAKE THE WORLD GO…ROUND: Round has been trending for a bit as well but going stronger into summer 2014. Celebrities able to pull the round frame look are wasting no time in rockin’ round shades. Do you have the face shape to rock a pair of round frames? Even if you don’t, and that’s how you want to style, DO IT
